Harvest Monday May 8th 2017

Things have been busy here with the garden, kids, etc. The hubs and I decided to finally really dedicate time daily to eat better and get more exercise. Spring is the best time for this considering the garden. I love to grow anything but I have a confession to make. I am not a big veggie eater. I know..It doesn't make sense. I have always been a picky eater.  Honestly i usually give away most of what i grow except herbs and cucumbers and tomatoes. Ive been growing snow peas and they have done really well but i forgot to take pics. Those were all cooked in a pan with coconut oil, garlic, salt and pepper. They were yummy.

I have also harvested my herbs to dry. I cut the plants and let them grow back and the cycle repeats. No pictures though. I forgot.

Speaking of pics. This is what I have harvested.

The lettuce is giant ceasar. Not so giant. I gave this one to a neighbor.  The peppers are spicy bananna and they are so big. The squash is regular squash. The chard is rainbow which has survived since last fall and still going strong.

I'm linking this to Our Happy Acres Harvest Monday. Head on over there and check out everyones Harvest!
